Objectives :

Approach: Deployment and Results This Workshop is designed to sensitize all personnel in software organizations to Quality, Sw Process Improvement, Project Managers and get their buy-in for continuous improvement, then provide a step by step, practical framework to Define, Control, Assure and Manage Quality/Projects - leading to Total Quality and measurable Questions & Answers for acknowledgement the company who needs to apply CMMI vs Agile methodologies from beginning to advance level.

Methodology: The Workshop is not a theory class on all topics in Project management. It is an interactive discussion and accomplishes experiential learning through discussions, presentations, and case studies and is based on CMMI v1.3 and Agile framework. Follow the five simple steps in an iterative manner (Deming‟s Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle) and move towards CMMI Vs Agile „requirements and readiness.

- Project Manager, Software managers and practitioners interested in the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) in area of Project Management
- person wishing to become PM,PMO, Enhancing Quality through and effective Project Management process.
- Quality Managers or those responsible for Quality wishing to extend and develop their previous knowledge of quality, systems and auditing skills. QA auditing checklist can be modified to Agile, requirements.
- The organization, which got problems in CMMI & Agile Implementation from your preparing for Assessment SEI-CMMI ML 2-3-4-5. - TQM person, Software process assessment, software capability evaluation, or other appraisal teams using the CMMI - Software engineering process group(SEPG) members who are doing software process improvement

This workshop helps prepare participants to make valid judgments regarding an organization's implementation of CMMI by Agile.

The course is helpful in identifying issues that should be addressed in performing software process improvement as structured by the combination of CMMI and Agile. This Workshop in its three days format. The course introduces participants to the CMMI and its fundamental concepts. The last days will make for the course discussion emphasizes understanding of CMMI by Agile activities and their characteristic key process areas of related Project

Day#1

1. The Best Practices

2. CMMI V1.3 overview The Capability Maturity Model describes a framework that organizations can use to determine their ability to develop and maintain software; it is a model for organizational improvement. This module provides guidance for How does CMMI fit in your Organization.

3. Project definitions Belief systems changes precede behavior change. This module helps align attitudes, provides perspective, facilitates buy-in, and addresses people‟s skepticism. What is a project and why we need to manage/control. Quality cannot be Controlled or Assured, least of all Managed, unless it is first Defined. This module provides guidance for defining of a Project in concrete, measurable terms.

4. Project Management Conceptual VS CMMI practices CMMI -Project Management Process Areas : Project planning , Project Monitoring and Control Integrated Project Management , Risk Management

5. Agile Model definitions • Purpose: Provide management with appropriate Project Management into the process being used and the products being built.

8. The CMMI-Based Integrated Framework for CMMI by Agile

11.Workshop : Case studies in CMMI by Agile Scrum in Project Management (presentation) Quantitative Process Management

12. Recommendation from Instructors Implementing the CMMI in a smooth Manner. How to Transition CMMI to CMMI By Agile Establishes Software process Improvement (SPI) Plan. To know why & what & how is concept of Process Management for Process Improvement by using Quantitative Process Management according to CMMI Model Practices

Notes: The CMMI is based on the process management work of W. Edwards Deming, Joseph M. Juran, and Phillip B. Crosby, and can be applied by organizations to improve their software process through a software process assessment. The CMMI also can be applied to software vendors via contractor evaluation. CMMI define 5 levels of process Maturity based on an organization‟s support for certain “process areas” (PAs). CMMI is a model against which a company‟s software development process capability is measured. The objective of using the model is to attain increasingly more predictable process performance and product quality, while minimizing variation in performance from the desired level.
